Passed away peacefully at St Julia’s Hospice on Monday 11th August 2025.

His funeral service will be held at Glynn Valley Crematorium on Friday 29th August at 10.30am. Family flowers only but donations in lieu for Cornwall Hospice Care can be given using the link below.

Vern has chosen donations towards Cornwall Hospice Care, instead of flowers, to support the charity that cared for him with such kindness and compassion in his final weeks. They went above and beyond to ensure he always felt safe and looked after. We will never be able to express just how much it meant to him and his family but we hope any donations can give another family the special level of care that we received.
